What's Up?

This is quite a recent compilation, inspired initially by the UK TV series Life On Mars but that got forgotten after the first track. Stretching across the years from the late 60's to the mid 90's, this is retro rocking with a cool edge. The Who were probably an echo from CSI too but what a great tune!

Songs Of Praize

This strange collection originated from 1979 when Variations hit the market. You will probably recognise it as the theme to the South Bank Show. I was going through a pretentious phase at the time and pooled all the 'classy tracks from various genres. It works well, I think?

Purple Rain was added later but the King Curtis rendition of Harlem Nocturne was originally the Lounge Lizards version which I have sadly, been unable to find?
